It is with great pleasure that I write to you on the occasion of the 13th edition of the Montreal Israeli Film Festival, which coincides with the 70th anniversary of the State of Israel.
I am delighted to see that the rich programming offered to the ever-growing Montreal public is a good reflection of what Israel has become in its 70 years of existence; that is, a country where culture is diverse, where values are deeply rooted and where cinema is a good reflection of society.
I would like to thank the CSUQ as well as its team and volunteers, without whom this great cultural event could not take place every year. I would also like to acknowledge all the festival’s sponsors, who contribute to these beautiful moments of sharing and discoveries.
